Five Things to do with Dad in Milledgeville

June has arrived, which means Father’s Day is right around the corner. If you’ll be spending Dad’s Day in Milledgeville, we’ve got five fun activities in mind!

1. Fishing

One of the most classic father-child bonding activities is fishing. Milledgeville’s Lake Sinclair offers multiple opportunities to fish, including Little River Park. This Campground & Marina offers sites with fish cleaning stations, as well as live bait and tackle. They also host fishing tours and tournaments, so be sure to check their website for dates and times.

2. Lake Sinclair

If fishing is not your forte, don’t fret. You can still spend Father’s Day by the lake! Rent a pontoon boat from Sinclair Marina and have some family fun relaxing on the lake. Or, check out Oconee Outfitters! They can provide you with kayaks and paddle boards to cruise Sinclair with.

3. Dining

We all know what Dads love to eat. Head on down to local favorites AJ’s Hot Wings or Buffington’s for some delicious wings, burgers and beers to celebrate this special day.

4. Golf

Another perfect bonding activity is golfing with your Dad. Plan a visit to The Club at Lake Sinclair for a fun-filled day of golf. Good news: rates include golf cart and greens fees. For tee times, call (478) 452-3220.

5. Massage

Though traditionally this gift may appeal more to Moms, it’s important to remember that Dads get sore too! Treat your Dad to a massage at Serenity Wellness Spa this Father’s Day. If you really want to be the favorite child, they offer a Gentleman’s Spa Experience which includes 4 hours of a Gentleman’s Facial, 45 minute Sports Massage, Sports Manicure, Sports Pedicure, complementary beverages and spa cuisine.
