One of Milledgeville’s most loved radio stations, this one has got it all! Playing a variety of pop, alternative and clean family favorite’s this station is a great one to have on! In the summer, they have a Z97 Lake Patrol that cruises the lake and lets lake goers participate in contests and win fun prizes. WGUR 95.3: Georgia College’s Student Radio
Want to relive your college days? WGUR 95.3 streams live 24/7 from the Georgia College campus. Run completely by students, WGUR plays a wide variety of music and has something for everyone. They even have student DJs on air with unique shows at (almost) all times of the day! Want to know what’s going on in the world? Check out the different news segments that run one or twice a day. WRGC is a local affiliate of National Public Radio and Georgia Public Broadcasting and streams from Georgia College’s West Campus. WKZR and WMVG-AM are run by the same company and are all about all things country and sports. They are also the local Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and NASCAR affiliate. Meet Hannah. Hannah is a senior Mass Communication student at Georgia College, where she will graduate from in May 2016. She is a dog mom to her sweet rescue, Rocko, coffee addict, foodie and overall lover of fun. You can usually find Hannah working at Gringo’s Taqueria in downtown Milledgeville, running around with Rocko at the Oconee River Greenway or, most likely, licking an ice-cream cone outside of Sweettreats. Hannah has been writing for the Milledgeville CVB since January of 2015 and has loved diving into the amazing history and culture of Milledgeville.
